i bought a 1980 ford pinto with 66,000 miles this past summer and it had an aftermarket a/c unit on it that was still working when i pulled it off. just wondering if there is any value to this because i never seen one on a pinto before. i took it off along with alot of other aftermarket stuff the guy before me added. i like to keep it simple and clean, plus the auto takes away enough power as it is.
I'll make a WAG of $200.00

Aftermarket - do you mean "dealer added" or truly aftermarket? The dealer added A/C option is not common, but there are several out there (including mine).

yes, it is dealer added and has the fomoco tag on the pump with a date.
Ah, good deal. Mine is also dealer added, tucked up under the dash, mostly in the way of everything. :-\
