Am I correct in assuming that the cylinder at the fornt is number one?
I just started to replace my timing belt. The problem is that it was already out of time so I need to figure out how to line up the gears.
Any suggestions on how the timeing marks line up? THe dist is easy, I think I found the mark for the crank shaft, but I can't seem to find a mark for the cam shaft gear to line up with.
The cam shaft mark you have to look threw the holes on the pulley! There is a mark toward the bottom of the pulley. If I remember right. I think my book has a pic of it, but I can't take pics of the book pics (lol) till tomorrow in the daylight!
I will send you some more pics of that section of the book. They arn't the best though because of the bad lighting in the house!
