Title: Daily driver for sale? Let me know!
Post by: beegle55 on September 03, 2009, 04:38:35 PM
As some forum members might have noticed... I haven't been around the site much lately. Thats because I am attending West Virginia University and will be for the next few years. I am looking for yet another Pinto! Don't worry, my other two are safe in the garage at home, but this time I am looking for a daily driver. I currently drive a 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo, but it is worth a little too much for me to leave sitting while I'm at college. The value will just drop and I'll be stuck with a worthless car when I get out. So I'm selling it, and using the profit for college and am investing into a good running Pinto. I have one that I know is good running but... I just got it painted and Morgantown is a little crazy and I'm afraid to bring it up here. Sad to say seeing as I never thought I would just want a car to sit in the garage, but I would rather that then go through another accident. So... If you know someone selling a reasonably priced, mechanically sound Pinto, please let me know. Respond here or e-mail me at cbeegle@mix.wvu.edu and isn't it going to be cool seeing a college kid rolling in a Pinto  :afro: I think so...

Oh and by the way.... not that I would necessarily want to but... I have a '74 Dodge Charger that is all original in great mechanical condition and is relatively solid... 318ci, 904 Trans, original owners manual and registration/proof of insurace. 80,000 original miles, 500 put on by myself. Trade?

Hey Beegle good luck in WVU, I know what your saying about morgantown. The roads are very sandy and dirty hard on the paint. Trying to ride a motorcyle thru their is like folling a dump truck full of coal dust and sand. Hope you find something and best wishes in school. Remember your pinto buddys win you graduate and get rich  :read: :read: .

Thanks for the good wishes! Well if I end up driving a Pinto to college while owning and loving three total it will be hard to get. But one thing is for sure... I'm never having as many kids as I will hopefully have Pinto's!  :tgif:

what color is this charger? cuz ive got a tangerine 78 pony with a 2.3 and 4 speed, trunk and 78 grand on the ticker. also has a very rare set of staggered width 13 inch appliance mags on it with brand new rubber! (have the orig. hubcaps that have never seen duty also) and a 302 and AOD out of a 84 T-bird that might go with it!

Beegle55:  So glad to hear you're in college and things are going well.  I was getting a little concerned, because I hadn't seen you on the site lately.  Good to hear all is well with you, hope you find the Pinto you need for college.  Great choice in a college cruiser I might add.  Have a great day....Larry :police:

Yeah Larry busy to say the least. I miss the site though so I'm going to try keep peeking in ever now and then. And orangekrush, the Charger is... well ugly. A forest green.. needs minor body work and paint. I'll include a few pics.
