Title: where do you find replacement quarter panels at?
Post by: thewrench3 on August 26, 2009, 08:01:36 AM
I found a nice 1979 pinto that has low mileage and runs good but the left rear quarter panel is really smashed. Where do you find a replacement quarter panel?

???

In most cases, you need to find a suitable donor car from which to cut one. I have never seen an NOS unit, though I am sure there are at least a few out there floating around or hidden away in a pile of parts.

I bought a set of new aftermarket quarter panels from Black Auto Parts.  It's been a couple of years but, if I remember correctly, they are located in South Dakota.  At any rate, you can find them on the internet... that's how I found them.  Paid just under $500 for the pair, shipping included.  Hope this helps!
