Title: Pintoman's wagon
Post by: pintoman on August 24, 2009, 11:28:00 AM
I thought that I would post this here also.It is a 78 C/W that I bought four years ago.It used to belong to a local towing company. After buying the car I decided to drive it home.Took some back roads and after about 12 miles it back fired and died.I called AAA and had it towed home. The distributor gear pin sheared and the engine now runs.I just got it painted this weekend. It looks great. Now all the fun begins, putting it back together.Oh what fun.

I haven't done much lately.Ran out of money for now.I need to buy a few things,Like a starter, carb rebuild kit, brake and fuel line's and a few other parts.I may go with a turbo or a 302 with a automatic.I can go either way at this time. The turbo will be cheaper.I have a spare turbo engine and the wire harness and computer.I might try and make a deal with a buddy of mine for a complete turbo engine.ai hope to have it at Carlisle next year.Thats all for now,so everyone have a good New year.
