been awhile since i have been on here. summer and all with tryin to get my car done been real busy. Got my car runnin and took it to a cruise nite in Jacksonville. got lots of thumbs up. But after all that happiness disaster struck and my lower end now has a light knock. If its not one thing its another. Gonna pull the motor this winter and go through it. Lookin at some pro topline aluminum heads. And i just picked up a paxton supercharger today for it. I"ll put picks up as soon as i can. Naybody ever supercharged a carbed car before? I need help. well gotta go drool over my new toy.

Hey Brad, just make sure the blower is " Shiney".......... ;D
This is no lie...I got a ProCharger at a swap meet this summer for 150 bucks! Don't know what I'm going to do with it, but I couldn't pass it up. Maybe when I finally get my Pinto 100% done (like that is ever going to happen) I'll put it on my 82 stang. It's got a 460 in it with about 430hp. I would think that a supercharger would help it reach 500. But it too has a carb and I really don't know much on supercharging a carb motor.

There are lots of folks super charging carbed engines these days. Summitt catalog is actually selling carbs set up for superchargers. The biggest factor is the carb it self. Other than that is a " hat" that fits over the carb.
gotta get to "shinin" it up. Its been sittin a while and is all tarnished. But have no fear it'll look like a mirror. I knows its cheesy but what the hell. Also i need the hat that sits on top of the carb. It did not come with one and i don't wanna pay what the ones on ebay are at.
