I have seen it done. I will be doing it to my Pangra. I have not worked out the details yet. The one I saw just used one shock on the passenger side.

There was a guy selling kits on ebay for mustang II's, I bought one.  HAven't gotten it installed yet but I figured if it fits the II it should work on the pinto, since they're the same platform.   ???

Like I said, I've not installed it. it takes 2 shocks from a Honda (I think)  I'll have to look for it and get back to you!!!

I have a Quicklift kit for my Mustang.  I too have not installed it but my friend has one on his Cobra and works pretty good.  They are made by Redline Tuning.  www.redlinetuning.com

I just went to redline and looked up the instructions to install a kit on a mustang. It looks easy. Being as I do not have a kit, I think the most important thing will be the distance between the fire wall area and the mounting bracket on the fender well. For each car there is a different length. It looks like a mustang is about 23". I think If I could get that length from the Pinto Kit instructions I could install my shocks. The Redline kit uses 2 shocks, one for each side.

Turbo,

Mine looks exactly like the Redline kit, only homemade out of aluminum, and it didn't come with the shocks.  I tried to find the instructions to day, but they eluded me.  I'll look again tomarrow.
