Title: Idle adjustment on a 78 Pinto
Post by: r4pinto on October 20, 2004, 12:16:31 AM
Hey all,

recently I've been trying to getr my car somewhat driveable, even though the motor's toast. Anyways, after trying a certain engine additive, the car now will rev, but idles crappy once the engine warms up. If I hold the gas pedal the car will run, but if I release it the car stalls and has trouble getting started. I know the engine needs a severe overhaul since it's blowing smoke everywhere, but I need to get the car atleast idling right.

How do I do this? I've never dealt with carbs before, so it's all greek to me.
