Where can I locate a new windshield for an 80 Pinto hatchback??

Check with a local glass supply shop. I did, and was quoted $260, though I have heard prices vary wildly. Look around and you may be surprised.

I did call Safelite and got a quote of 279 but then when trying to schedule the job, was told that my quote was bogus and the glass was not available.  What company did you go through???

Sorry I don't recall - it was a local glass shop near Dallas, TX, in a suburb....not specific to auto glass.

PPPHHHHHTTT,good luck with getting a windshield for a pinto,be luckier trying to get one for a 48 tucker.I had to drive 200 miles to get a used untinted one,price was right at $65 but too much driving on top of everything else.
