Title: Last One '80 Pinto Hatchback
Post by: Last One on July 29, 2009, 11:50:36 PM
This is my newest addition to the family. A barn find, the car had not been registered since 1994. Bought for $300. Drove it 70 miles home, ran very well at 65-70 MPH.

Well, I'm impressed :surprised:

I paid three times that for mine and it didn't look 1/3 that good! ::)

Enjoy!

Nice Find! You got yourself quite a deal. Car looks good and even the interior is nice. I paid $350.00 for my 80 trunk model. It was a one owner with 93,000 miles and no rust. I like having the last year they were made.

Thanks blupinto,
Actually bought it for my wife. Needs a couple of little things (windshield, hatchback metal, A little wiring straightened out). Runs strong, body is straight and pretty much rust free and original paint. Am taking it to her first car show on 8-01-09.

Cool! You both have fun at the show. Brace yourselves for the I-Haven't-Seen-One-Of-These-In-Years comments. You meet some nice people at a car show...snobs notwithstanding... ;D

You're so lucky to find such a good Pinto at such a low price! '80 is my favorite year too!
