Ok, I have always liked these emblems and finally bought one off ebay!! It came today and it is just awesome up close and personal!! ;D
My question for you knowledgeable Pinto people is, what is the story behind this little emblem? What cars did they put them on (I know Pintos, lol), what years did they put them on, and where did they put them on the grille? Left side, right side, or right in the middle?
I'm just currious about the history of the emblem!! Oh, yah, here's the emblem in question!!! LOL ;D

You little snot! I wanted that! lol.
In the Good Old Days I've mostly seen them, if you're facing the front of the Pinto, on the grille left side, closer to the turn signal lens than the grille center. In the end I guess you could put the badge anywhere on the grille. Someday I hope to get a badge- to put on Wildfire. I have to say- the Pintos I saw with them (when I was a wee terror) were driven by elderly people. Hope this helps. Congrats! I got an emblem with the original red-white-blue insert- NOT REPAINTED! YAY!!! :tgif:
