Does anyone know a good way to take off door panels without wrecking or bending them?

Yes. Take off the door release handle, window handle and armrest then gently pry the panel off with a flat screwdriver. I've used a tire iron with the hubcap remover end because it has a flat but wider tip that helps pull the panel and clips out of the door. Don't hurry- the particle board in the panel is fragile. I hope this helps. ;D
Sears sells a special "door upholstery tool" for about $10 that is 'forked' so you can get under the clips. I use the flatblade myself(Thanks, Becky!), but at the upholstery shop, I was required to use the right tool. Be careful and patient, and it should work out fine. once you get one clip out, you can gently hold the panel outward to find the next clip.

Yeah what Chuck said! ;D
Thanks for all the help eveyone. Its good to know you can still at least get information for free !!! I was going to try a saws all blade to try to get up behind the panel and cut the clips. I think I'll try the sears tool !!
