i have a 1980 runabout and im rebuilding the head on it to try and get a little more HP/torque out of it and to get it to quit smoking, but mostly for more HP/torque. im trying to completely rebuild it for around $400. i wont to get a pro cam but i have know idea what kind. do i need a roller cam or a hydraulic cam? can i use the stock springs? do i need hydraulic lifters or roller lifters? what are followers? and do i need new ones? and my biggest question is, is is there something else that i could spend $400 on and get more bang for my buck out of that little engine.
Why don't you buy a whole Turbo Coupe, Merkur,or Turbo mustang,Capri for the drivetrain and have 250Hp for 400.00 BUX.
