Title: How to store a Pinto!
Post by: pintogirl on June 07, 2009, 11:23:01 PM
Hubby decided that since we were going to be getting a sea container to keep my Pinto parts in, he wouldn't stip the 77 any further, until we got the container. So he made it so we could store it!

Here is the front clip getting ready to go up! LOL

Back clip, already up!

Snug as a bug! LOL

We figured this would be the easiest for now. We were supposed to be getting the sea container on Friday, but the deal may have fallen through, not really sure. The guy is hard to understand and I think he thought that when hubby went to pay for the container today, that hubby wanted to take it now. He said something about giving him some time!! Hubby said we would go buy another one soon if this one does fall through! As you can see we already have 2 containers! LOL One has the Model A in it, and the other has the Model T. Plus misc. stuff! LOL

You and Rob are some smart people. I wish I could do that. Covenants here forbid them. &%#@ Yuppies!

You are so fortunate- a) because you have room, and b) you don't have ordinances that call sea trains "eyesores" and therefore forbidden. in parts of San Diego county where people have an acre or two of land they're still outlawed.

Sounds like you guys need to move to WV. I make the rules around here. Well ok my wife does. But hey not the neighbors.

Well, actually I think there may be some sort of rules about having them. They are behind our house though so no one can see them but our neighbor. She is ok with them, but we are still thinking of adding 2 ft to the fence, so she won't have to look at the tops of them! Either that or paint a fence on the containers! LOL
