Title: Which Posi
Post by: Carolina Boy on May 22, 2009, 08:32:59 PM
As yall know there are a lot of posi units, But which one should be used?

Does it depend on how you will drive your car?

I know of the Traction-loc, Detroit Locker, Limited slip, Full locker and a couple more I don't know the name.

If your staying under 300 FT LBS in an 8 inch and the dough isn't tight :look: A worm gear "Tru Trac" is the bomb (good combo for a pinto don't you think? ::)) This is not a IMHO...it IS the rear to get...period. ;D

Ok, so I'm not text literate :cheesy_n:
Great rearend info. Another question arises, how do you measure an axle to have it shortened, and is it true that a Granada rearend is a bolt in in the Pinto?
