Post by: hellfirejim on May 20, 2009, 07:07:33 AM
In my 75 i am going to replace the german 4 spd with a C3 out of a Pinto.  The questions is, will the driveshaft work or???????

Do you have a drive shaft for a C3 equiped car???  i wonder what the shipping will be?  60112

The reason i say this is we have a good driveshaft place near me. However I need to judge the cost effectiveness to decide which way to go if we need it.

Thanks Fred, I will get back to you.  It appears that I won't be able to make the swap until next week at the earlist. I hate waiting on parts.

Sorry to have to ask this again but do you have a driveshaft that is specific to a C3 Pinto??? I just need to make sure as I can only do this once.

Jim there is a 2.0 71 out there but I have numerous drive shafts best to tell me length you want and if my planning works out I may deliver personally to you're house.  Fred   :)

sounds good to me.  When we get the switch done and we find out if the old driveshaft will fit or not, I will measure and let you know.

Like the sound of the delivery, you are welcome any time.
