hey guys, im still kinda new working on my pinto. im readin in a book connect vacuum amp. was there a vacuum amp on a 77 2.3l. if so anyone got a pic of one so i can see it. were would i find one if i had to replace it? thanks for your help, mike
Mike it is mounted on left wheel well. Fred :)
I don't mean to hijack Mike's thread but what is that for? That is the first time I have seen one of them.
It amplifies the vacum to the EGR valve that bolts to spacer plate under carb. Fred :)
sweet thanks fred
I have never seen this thing either. How vital is it to a functioning EGR system?
All 3 of my 74's have, no 73 or 78 so it must be a 74 item. Fred :)
ok, so can anyone confirm that there is no vacuum amp on a 77?
