I am pricing new coil springs for my car and I noticed there are different ones listed depending on weather it is awagon or not, or if it has a/c.
What is the difference? I have a 77 sedan with no a/c but saw the springs for a 77 sedan with a/c is about 15 dollars less.
Any info?
Seems to me it would be the spring rate, as wagons are heavier and you had the 4 cylinder and heavier V6. :read:
Hmmmmm... I might go the "cheaper route" and get the ones for the a/c sedan then. The part number for that set is actually the same for a non a/c wagon.. One of the reasons I was confused. Trying to get all the parts together before I try to do a front end rebuild. I really should write up a parts list for that.
Carolina Boy is right. It's spring rates. If you want stock ride height, go with the springs rated for how your car is equipped or you might end up nose up... :hypno:

I was right, I was right, the medicine is working!!!!!!!!!!!!
I see said the blind man... I don't want that & unless I get a/c before the coil springs I will spend the extra $15 and get the right ones.
Thanks :)
