Hello,
I came across a 79 Pinto 2.3L wagon for sale on Hwy 58 near Mauston, Wisconsin and thought someone here might be interested in it. It looked like it was in good condition, with some chips, scratches, rust, and small patch in the driver side floor. The underside looks very clean, compared to a normal Wisconsin Pinto, this one has Wyoming plates on it. It's white with a black grill and head light trims, and looks like it was probably painted. The interior is a tan color that looks clean.
As far as I could tell the odometer was a little over 81,000 miles. It has 3 rally style wheels, and one steelie with a cheap wheel cover. The two front rally wheels looked "ok" but the back one looked a little banged up and missing the center cap. Some other things I noticed were a roof rack and old studded tires on the rear. I didn't have much time to check the thing out, so I cant really remember if it was an automatic, but I think it was.
They are asking $2100 o.b.o. I have the phone number if anyone is interested. I don't know the people that have the car, I just think every pinto should have a good home, and I don't have room for another one. ;D
D'oh... I knew I should of checked the classifieds first. :look:
