I am performing a V8 swap on a 1978 pinto. I am looking for a few parts. I need an oil pan OEM#d5zz6675a, and if I can find a flexible steering shaft from an early pinto that would be cool. If anyone can direct me to a website or two where I could find either of those please let me know.
:welcome: Welcome to the herd.
I too am doing a V8 swap in a 78 Pinto.
See the red site tool bar in the banner?
Click on search, Type in "V8 conversion basics for '74 & up Pinto. That will be a good sourse for infomation. I thought it so good that I printed it out and put it in my build book.
You can get the oilpam from Summit Racing.
You can get the oil pan on e-bay for a lot less than summit, I think I posted a link on my thread "71 V-8 Swap" in the projects section. Oh, BTW, :welcome:
Awesome guys, thanks for the help!
