Title: Compatability of body panels - Pinto to Bobcat
Post by: FlyerPinto on April 29, 2009, 03:22:39 PM
I have found rear fender sections (new) that are supposed to fit 71-80 Pintos. I want to be certain they will fit my 77 Bobcats. As far as I know the only differences between the cars was pretty much cosmetic, tail lights, hood, grille etc. I just want to be sure before I spend the money on them.

Also I've found reproduction Ford Mustang II floor pans...will they swap over to the Bobcat?

Rear fender panels are the same, not sure of the Mustang II floors.

The MII floorpan incompatibility with the Pinto has been discussed here many times before. Do a search to find out more.

the floor pans require a bit of work, other then that everything other then hood/Grille are about the same.

Thanks for the info folks. Every time I've tried a search I seem to end up with a mess, so I just asked the question. Sorry.
