Title: Front valance
Post by: Carolina Boy on April 26, 2009, 09:50:00 AM
The 71 -73 Pintos had a lower valance in the front. Could one be used on the front of a 78 without the bumper?

As we have seen, even classy cardboard can be used with enough work! ;D The front measurements are just too different to make it work without an English Wheel and the artist $$$.  IMHO :drunk:

I seen your post "Traction" and the look of the valance got me thinking about it. I take the fenders are different where the valance bolt to?

Thanks, but not my car....that guy is nuts (I get crazy but I'm not nuts ) to pull that  with no wheelie bar and stock suspension? I want to see the...after a few touchdown pics, hopefully not including a body bag

The entire front of the later Pintos was massively redesigned for the new safety requirements (big bumpers) and the physically bigger 2.3L and 2.8L.
