I have a 72 pinto with the 2.0L, i am planning on really building this motor up, gonna take time/money. i want to go with a supercharger but i haven't found a single kit (no big surprise there). I am looking to go high boost (eventually). i just want to know if anyone out there has any advice, like whether to use a roots style vs. a centrifugal style and anything about how exactly to deal with the fact that it has a V-belt, am i going to need to convert it to a serpentine belt? am i gong to need to just get a supercharger for small sized motors and just custom build the piping and all the mounts? am i going to need to get a specific carb? i have a holley 390 that i was planning on using, i just don't know what else i'm going to need. and am i'm not sure if i'm going to need a Blow off valve? i know you don't normally need to with a supercharger, but i don't know a whole lot about the centrifugal style super chargers, i could really use some help answering these questions, so if you have any help at all, i would really appreciate it
Try this link to Paxton superchargers....http://www.dragtimes.com/superchargers.php (http://www.dragtimes.com/superchargers.php)
What do you think...SRT? You were in the Granatelli's back yard...
This is what I'm doing at 2.22am.

Sorry...the link I put up earlier was wrong >:( It's correct now. I was trying to get you to Paxton Superghargers that were located in Santa Monica Ca. in the old days. Carroll Shelby used them on some GT350s, etc. No under hood heat like a turbo but it takes torque to spin it. The four cylinder is weak on torque to start with which is why most folks go turbo. I've always been a supercharger guy because I had trouble (my own) with the concept on throwing hot gases back into an engine. I know turbos have come a LONG way since I formed that idea ::)
