Need some help. I am at work looking at summit, was going to order a alternater. They have a one wire alt, for 61 to 86 ford. I am guessing that this would be a externally regulated alternater. My pinto was missing the stuff under the hood when i got it but i am sure the 71 pinto has a voltage reg doesnt it.
Any sugestions?
I am thinking the one wire alts are internal?
