hey guys I'm back n stumped again..77 2.3l

1. i bought a rebuilt carb. it came with a spacer. what do i need to bolt it on the intake manifold. i know a spacer but when i had put a holley 2300 carb the adapter i bought did not have any type of air system just was a piece of metal. when i looked at the carb that was on my car it had a spacer but had a hose that goes from it to sumthing else. (i don't know much bout cars so not sure.) also i have hear people mention egr valve or sumthing. what do i need to have it running stock? smog ca standers?

2. on the power steering gear there is a send and return high pressure power steering hose. like a moron i was under my car today poring rain i was trying to take a damaged hose off...i manged to completely rotate it thinking it was getting looser. i ended up breaking the whole metal line. there is a fitting that bolts on to the gear then bolts onto the high pressure hose. i tyred finding a new one but had no luck. were do i find that or do i have to replace the whole rack n pinion gear?

ok i have found out i need an egr spacer.
