Title: Cosworth Pinto Picture
Post by: cossiepinto on April 07, 2009, 07:41:31 PM
Ok, here is a picture of the Cosworth Pinto as it sits now, ready for assembly and paint.  I've finished all the welding/fabrication, the Quaife gearbox is here, the Minilites are due here this next week, so I'm running out of excuses for finishing the thing.  I'll check the site for questions over the next few days, if you have any out there.  Thanks for looking.

You have to go outside the site to access his old picture page and then you can see the motor mocked up inside the car. I've got a page of literature ( prose )that's in Limbo because of site design restrictions.  Try looking under the Your Racers section of this site first. Then it's Google time..

Thanks for posting that old picture, Pintosopher.  The engine sits on an engine stand only a few feet away.  I am waiting to bolt the head onto the block until when I'm almost ready to put it in for good.  I hope that won't be too long from now.  I'm going to trailer it over to a local shop to have the interior floor and trunk area "rhino-lined", then it'll be back to my garage for assembly.  Looks like I'm going to get to do all this in the heat of summer.

Paul,
My Pleasure, I had your engine photo saved as a Desktop wallpaper.

Will stay tuned for your updates,
