When I bought the car all the emissions stuff had already been removed.
The PCV valve on top of the valve cover currently has a hose that is just run to the ground. Yes, it is about 2-3 feet long, and the other end is just open and hanging a couple of inches above the road. Although I did today reroute it and put the end into an empty quart oil container. Trying to see if this is the source of one of my oil leaks.
So I am curious where is this hose "supposed" to be going?
I am not about to try to restore the emissions stuff, but if the place is still there to connect this, I will do it.
There are so many hoses and lines plugged up on this thing it isn't funny.
Thanks,
Russ
Maybe this will help?

Good luck to you.
Thats just a vent that goes to the air cleaner, it is not the PCV valve. If THAT is leaking oil youve more than likely got big problems! (blow-by). Could also be the PCV valve, but take it out and shake it. If you hear it rattle, its fine, if not, its dirty and clogged up and needs to be replaced. The PCV valve is located in between two hoses, one coming up from under the intake manifold. The vavle is in the end of one of those hoses and the other hose connects to the top of the valve and goes into the plate underneath the base of the carburetor.
