Would it be worth my trouble making these out of fiberglass? Maybe recoup some of my cost selling them.
I can make the molds using the panels I have.
Also, what would be better...
1) Cruisin panels with the holes for the windows
OR
2)Sudan delivery panels with out holes for the windows
It maybe a challenge to do it but it sounds like fun.
I'd make both.
Maybe even make some custom designs for windows like flame design or a Pinto (not sure if its galloping running or jumping ???) pony window cutout. :P
I think the custom designs thing would be cool!
Pinto pony is bucking. :)

That brings back a memory :lost:
The 1976 Car Craft Magazine series 'vest pocket van' took a simple white grocery getter 76 wagon and turned it into a 'cruising wagon' before Ford offered it. They used aftermarket fiberglass panels (available then ???) with two 'oval' shaped windows side by side leaning toward the front. They had to cut the holes in the glass to install the windows, so your answer might be to make available the panels without holes, and let people cut their own. In the 70's, bubble windows were available in all sorts of shapes and sizes, from basic round to diamonds and hearts, and everything in between.

Did they look like this? These panels are not fiberglass though. They are metal and look to be the same as the factory ones. Maybe Ford contracted to the same place? I do not have the interior panels to these though....
??? I had double vision in my memory ???
Well, here's the cover shot, Nov 76. I have the issue with the conversion and their own custom interior panel install. I'll have to dig a little, though.

Yes, I am at work. I will take a look when I get home.
Thanks
I'm on my home computer now and I still cannot see the pic ???
Looks like we have a really broken URL.
What's with Flickr and Photobucket throttling the bandwidth so that it is almost useless? >:(
What the ???
I went back and changed the links, the pic is still there ??? I'm really starting to not like flickr.
I'll post it to my gallery in 'other pintos' in case it stops working again.
