are 74 wagon window regulators the same as coupe and hatchback. i may need a set. thanks. roy
I think they are but good question. I know I have a hatch regulator in my 78 CW but I am not sure about the earlier ones. I believe I have some spares from a 76 wagon if you are interested.
the regulators changed designe in 78 , the differance between wagon and sedan door is the top where it closes to the body wagon is taller
thanks for info..i'll email you after i pull my door panels off and see what happening. driver one is wobbly when you try crank and pass side feels jambed and won't wind down.. roy
Wobbly is not good but they may just need a good lube job. I would try that first before swapping them out. Good luck to ya!
I noticed that recently my driver's side will roll down about 4 inches, then stop and seems jammed. I just roll it up then back down, it goes another four inches and jams again, roll it back up and down all the way. I don't know what it is that's causing it, I need to pop my door panel off and take a look. I'm thinking it may be the piece of wood I screwed to the inside of the door to keep my arm rest held on in the back. I know, ghetto.
The 2 arm window regulators are all the same, car and wagon from day 1 through 8/2/76.
On 8/3/76 through 1980 they changed to a 1 arm regulator for car and wagon.
The door shell and the door glass also changed on that date.
The wagon door glass and channel around the top of the glass is different from the car, but the window regulators are the same.
Thanks Bill, 1 up for you 8)

I should have a few. Let me find it and I will get back to you.
Got my driver's side fixed. The rivets that hold the regulator to the door were worn and loose, letting it move about 1/8" and jamming up the regulator teeth. Cut the old rivet out with a dremel, installed a bolt and nut, lubed it up real good with some white lithium grease and it's good as new now!
I also lubed the mechanism for the door release handle while I was in there. The difference in opening the doors now is unbelievable!
Roy, I am sorry but I did not find a good drivers side regulator. I only had one two arm and I noticed that some of the teeth are pretty worn in one area. I don't want to sell you junk so I am going to have to pass.
thanks... when my wagon comes back form the body shop i'll pull the driver door apart and check it out and see. roy
