I am in need of a pulley for the air pump on my 80 pinto with a 2.3L w/o AC. the part number off mine is D42E9C480A3A and is 6" in diameter. any help would be great
I pulled one off of a late 70s Lincoln Continental at the junk yard today. It is the same as my original one. I had to replace mine since it was warped, but I also replaced my pump with one from an early 80s Mercury Grand Marquis.
When going on junk yard finds for Pinto motor stuff, I find it helpful to look up the part on www.schucks.com (Orileys site) and then click on "find all vehicles this fits" (or something like that), then print up the page and bring it with me to the junk yard. You'd be surprised how many times they reused parts for Ford built cars!
