I asked that question too, I decided on 14" Fairmont rims with dog-dishes. I have the late 80's style 'sawblade' mags on mine, they're ok for now. That jet black c/w is going to make it hard to pull off the 'sleeper' look. I personally like libres or 70's kidney bean mags.

well been about 6 weeks, Got the Front end parts all on, and the running lights & Tail lights, these are the SWEEEEET ones I got on evil bay for 40 bucks, Installed the roof rack, installed the headlights, and bumpers, I have to sand and poilsh the bumpers, then clear coat them, tomorrow, I will put the front windsheild chrome on and the wipers, and radio antenna, door handles and locks....Soon I will be flying in my Black Stallion....yes. she was a Black on Black wagon, I just can't bring myself to put the Multi-color stripes on, didn't they use another type of stripe?..it's came a long way in 1-1/2 month...next the Insides....after that, light color sand and buff it to a mirror finish..

ALMOST DONE.....Station WAgon Show here in Cincinnati June 19-20 in Milford, Ohio!!
WOW!!! She looks great! Are you gonna be at the Ohio Pinto meet in July? That would be cool to see it in person.
Well took the wagon out today for it's real 1st time out, filled up the gas tank, install plates, topped off radiator, on the way back from town approx 5 miles, my tranny started to slip :'(
So I pulled the pan, cleaned it all up new filter and fluid, but not to be, still slips when it gets hot! POOOOP....
My tranny guy will rebuild it for $400 bucks if I pull it out..I guess it's coming out! stay tuned!! :nocool:
Been almost 2 months, Took the pinto in last week, new tranny installed, with new converter, seems to not have as much pull as it had, he said the rebuilt converter has a a different stall speed, drives great, so Back in Black!.....Look for me on the road!!! :fastcar:
It's been almost 3 years, it is pretty much done, have taken it to 2 cruise inns this weekend, both local here in Trenton, Ohio, sitting next to my old 1963 Rambler 330 2-door wagon, Now a sedan delivery,
