Title: Tubbing out my 1980 Pinto Station Wagon
Post by: docsdream on March 20, 2009, 11:37:27 AM
I need some helpful advise on tackling the job of tubbing out my 1980 Pinto. I could use suggestions, ideas, comments, and info. on where to get the right parts I need.  I really want it done right.    :read:  I tried this once before on another Pinto I have, but, being the first one, I encountered some problems and it didn't turn out right.

After several years and much more experience, I'm ready to try again.

I have some very large wheels I want to put on the back of my Pinto, so I need to tub it out.  I have most all of the parts.  I want to take my Pinto to Car Shows, and maybe drive it on the street once in a while.
Also, I'm thinking about lowering the front end.

Why do you need to tub it?

Why do you need to tub it?

Good question indeed. What is your intended purpose for the car? I don't want to be a nay sayer here, but if you need to ask for suggestions and where to get the parts, maybe you should just get someone else to do it. :accident:
