Title: fold out rear windows?
Post by: prostang92 on March 12, 2009, 05:01:52 PM
I just noticed that in one of the main pictures, a car had fold out rear windows?

Are those interchageable? I have a 79 trunk model?

Yes 72-80 pop out windows are interchangeable as long as they are from a trunk model.

Just curious...What is the difference from the runabout and hatchback models?

Runabouts ARE hatchbacks. Then you have the normal hatchback and the full-glass hatchback ( the ones with the metal handle that says FORD and the Pinto script and foal on the glass.) The trunk models have a half-window and a little trunk under that.

This is not quite true.. :read: This winter I pulled the "wing" windows out of a 74' Pinto "sedan" and they fit right into my 80' Bobcat "Runabout"   BTW if you find these windows you will not be able to get the plastic hinges from Ford because i bought the last ones in the nation.  (For 3.50 a piece could you blame me?)  It took me 3 years to get the windows for my Bobcat.  Now I have 4-40-40 AC.  :hypno:
