For those of you who have signed on for the magazine, the first issue should be done and printed in a matter of a couple of weeks. I'm a little behind schedule and working out the bugs in the software program. Just wanted to let you know, and thanks a bunch. Look forward to hearing from you!

Will that address work for a subscription?
what would be the yearly Subscription cost?
I'd like to subscribe too.
How about a repost of the subscription info for us FNGs? ;)
Yes, I would like to subscribe, too. I also plan to CONTRIBUTE - when I find the time, but in the meantime, I am in the same boat as these other guys.
Chris
Yes to everyone, the subscription address is the same as listed above just addressed to Pinto Times. The subscription cost is $32 per year (Hopefully there will be more than one!) for four issues, published quarterly. As the number of subscribers go up, I anticipate the cost will go down somewhat, but how much I can't say. I had originally planned on charging for classifieds, but seeing as there has been no response to that whatsoever, I figured to just do it for free or skip it entirely. What do you all think?

With classified ads only appearing once every three months I doubt that there would be much interest for subscribers with parts for sale but it would work well for suppliers who want to showcase their parts and services. We all wish you the best of luck on this new exciting adventure. We will be looking forward to the first issue.
Who do I make the check out to?
Just make it out to Pinto Times. I have a bank account in that name so it keeps things nice and tidy!
Thanks!
:fastcar: Wow, already middle of March :hypno: I was going to have the check in the mail before March 1st. Well at least springs here this week. :welcome: 8) The check will be in the mail tomarrow.
Thanks, For All You Do!

Am I to late to subscribe and get the first issue??
Not at all. I'm still cranking out a couple of things and there is still time. I wanted to have the first issue out by now but I would rather get it right and have it be late than to rush it out and have it be something we would all be embarrassed by. Just send a check and you'll be good. Thanks!
Matthew
Ok, Check going out in tomorrow's mail!!! I didn't put a note or anything in the envelope, figured you could get my address from the check!!! ;D
Just noticed that the subscription price is 32 dollars. I sent you 35! LOL Consider it a tip!! LOL Or maybe it can be a bribe to get you to send me my mag off first!! LOL   ;D
You never know what might work! I'll take care of you though, and thanks.
Matthew
Hey Pintogirl
I like your style--You can send me a check any time.
Just kidding ;) too bad we are so far apart, as I would
enjoy meeting you & all of the Pinto enthusiasts in all over
AMERICA & FREE WORLD.
Sincerely Postalpony
Pinto Times has gone to the printer!!! With any luck the first issues will be back to me and in the mail within a week to ten days. Sorry about the delay, but I wanted it to be good.
Matthew Gunter
Please save a first issue for me!!! I'm having trouble scraping up funds for the subscription but I definitely want to subscribe! Thank you!
No problem; I'm planning on printing a few more than what I need for the first go around so I can still get folks the first issue even if they subscribe a little later.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hope my info is right. ::) ;D :tgif:
The address was right on, and I printed about ten extra copies of the first issue in case anyone wants to get one. Also, I can go back and have more printed without much trouble. I hope everyone likes the magazine, it's a little shorter than what I wanted, but I only had three folks who contributed anything and only one of those was an article. As a result, I did a lot of writing. Let me know what you think.

I would like to give Matt a standing ovation for the magazine.I received the first issue today and it was grrrrreat.Keep it up Matt can't wait for the next issue.
I am actually working on several articles. While I had hoped to be in the first issue, time got the best of me. I spent some time today on an article covering "Dash board removal/restoration", since I have already removed a dash from a donor car, plan to restore it, and then remove the one in my own car and replace it with the first one.
Can't wait to see the magazine.

Hey Matt: Just received my issue and it is incredible !!! Job well done. Hopefully you can get some of our PCCA writers and mechanical guys and girls in gear to help you with the next issue. Joe in Morgan Hill, CA
Thanks for the positive feedback folks. I was scared blue that people wouldn't like it. Send those ideas for articles, projects, photos and everything else my way and the next issue will be even larger!
Matthew
Got my issue today! It is a wonderful magazine as it is, and still has much more potential to become even greater. I am brain storming to figure out some type of article to submit, but I know for sure that I will be submitting a story and picture of my car in the future! :) I'm sure Becky and Kim are planning that too though! ;)
Very nice how-to article, something I've been wanting to do to my car but wasn't sure if it had been done before!
Matthew,
I've been experiencing computer problems and haven't been online much over the past week or so but I wanted to let you know how thoroughly impressed I am with the first issue of Pinto Times. You have done a marvelous job! I hope everyone here will jump on the bandwagon and help you out with articles - you certainly had to do a lot of writing for that first issue. I dashed off a short piece about my first Pinto this morning and will mail it out to you Monday. If my writing meets your approval, I'll be glad to do more. Thanks again for creating such a fine magazine.
Dwayne
I want to write a What I Found In My Pinto article. Can it be a print (the picture) or must it be digital? Do I need to write the story on paper or by 'puter?
You can do it either way. If you write by hand, please make sure it is neat so I can read it, and include contact information for you so I can get in touch with you if I have any questions. Looking forward to it.
Matthew
Any news on when the next issue will be released? I'm looking forward to some more PCCA targeted literature! :D

There may well be a few copies of the first issue available. I was late subscribing and there were still some then. No word yet on when the second issue is coming out.
