Is there a sensor that needs to be installed when you swap from a stock cluster to a tach equiped cluster?
Do a search, I believe Bill installed all the gauges in his yellow car.
I search alot of post and found nothing. Anymore ideas??? ???
I don't know of any sensors. My Pinto has a 'tach' terminal on the coil (it's the original). I've had hit'n'miss results with the 'search' button (top right corner) have you tried that, or are you just looking thru the forum posts? I know the sensors for the water/oil on the regular Pinto's won't work with the gauges, they are for 'light' only. Do you have the car you took the gauges out of? You may need to do some wiring work, the arrangement is different in the plug to the cluster. It may simply be easier to change the dash harness if you have the donor car.
