I Got A 74 2.3 a few months back and the only thing hooked to the carb is fuel line and i have no clue where the lines go off the carb. there is like 5 or 6 ports on the intake manifold and none of them have lines on them either. the car runs great when its warm out but i cant get it to stay runnin when its cold i could use some help on that too. thanks
It doesnt NEED any of them unless its automatic then it has to have the one to the transmission. Run a vacuum line from the port on the front of the intake to the vacuum advance on the disturbutor. This will run the vac advance and might make it run better. That is how all my pintos are, except the 79, which has all its vacuum stuff hooked up. It still gets its vac advance vacuum from the front port on the intake tho.
