i know this gets asked alot but i have a 78 pinto and a 302/aod set from a 84 t-bird. and i want to make a hot rod!! ive also got a set of the supercomp hooker 6161 type headers (so im ahead of the game) what i need to know is if anyone makes a set of bolt in motor mounts for this swap. ive heard that the mounts from a 77-78 mustang cobra bolt right in. and so does the radiator. is that true? and ive also heard that you need to use the front coils from this car too. basically i want this to go as smoothly and quickly as possible so what parts do i not have that i need?!!! ive also heard that you can flip the tranny mount backwards and it bolts right up to a aod or c4. is this true? thanks in advance to the people that respond to my questions!! my pinto has the 2.3 and 4 speed in it now too if that helps anything.
I dont think they bolt "right" in, From what i have read there is always a little cutting involved. I would do a search on the site, im sure there is something on it here somewhere.
