I'm thinking abought putting a 2.5 stroker crank in my 2.3.Do i need to use the 2.5 rods or the 2.3 rods.Any help would be appreciated.
Go to Racer Walsh's web site. At the end of his catalog he has everthing you ever need to know about a 2.3 or 2.5L ford. You can use a 2.5L short block but I understand the Pinto oil pan will be hard but not inpossible to seal over the rear main cap. Lots of RTV will work.
I used a 1991 Ranger block for my 2.5. I also used a pinto oil pan and it never leaked.
Oh yeah, the Rods. Crower Billit Chromoly 5.5 length and JE dished 8.1 pistons with Total seal rings.
