What is the diameter of the center hub hole of a standard Pinto wheel? Thanks!

The steel wheel center hole fits snugly on the hub to help center/support the wheel.  The early model steel wheel center holes are about 2.43" ID while the later models are about 2.52" ID.  I believe the 1974 was the first year of the larger hub.  So the early steel wheels will not bolt on to the later hubs.  The after market aluminum wheels use just the lugs to center the wheel and their center holes are large enough to fit the larger hubs (at least the ones that I have owned).  Not Sure about the Ford aluminum wheels (the 73 sales brochure shows them as an option).
