I am organizing a mountain run on Feb 1st, Super Bowl Sunday. The route will be up Mt Baldy, over Glendora Ridge Road to Hwy 39. The run should be over in time to watch the Super Bowl. Time and meeting place will be posted in the near future. We have a couple kids from back east visiting us, Pintony and Cookieboy, and I figured a nice canyon cruise would be a nice way to spend the day. We will be done before the super bowl so you guys that NEED to see it should not have a problem. I will post the meeting spot as the date draws near. I have invited the Fiat guys aswell as it was their idea. See you all there!

Sunday, Feb 1, 2009. Meeting at Starbucks in La Verne. First car out is 930am, meet 830am-9am. Fuel up before arriving! There are gas stations on Foothill Blvd just east and west of the Starbucks. The Starbucks is just east of the Foothill Bl exit from the 210 fwy. Here is the link to Starbucks;

We will be taking Glendora Mountain Road from Mt. Baldy to Route 39 to a cool little hotdog/hamburger place. It will be a nice drive BUT be aware, Glendora mountain road can close at any time. I will do my best to call the ranger as often as I can BUT still, it could close while we are in route. This is a slim chance but I just want you guys to be aware so no one kills me.
You may call the Glendora Ranger Station @ 626-335-1251 . If there have been excessive rains, please know that most likely the road will be closed.
