Looking to test my 1977 Bobcat 171cu 2.8l V6. The only compression testers I can find are metric. (14, 16, 18mm plug sizes.)
Does anyone know if I can use a tester like that on my Cat w/ standard plug size? I know some metric sizes come close, but will that matter?
the Cologne motor uses (after 1975) a metric plug. my 2.8 has a 76 American head and a 77 German head, both use the same plug size and my Metric Compression meter works just fine in it. =) Hope this helps
