Title: now what? (rear springs)
Post by: dholvrsn on December 31, 2008, 11:54:16 AM
JC Whitney just cancelled my order of rear Pinto wagon springs because they're backordered for forever and a day. Now what? I'm toying with taking my broken and sagging springs to either Sterling or Inland Truck. Anybody have any experience with these guys? What sort of prices am I look at?

While I'm breathlessly waiting, I just have to ask: why do some wagon springs have one weight strapped to them while others have two weights?  ???

Did those springs get returned or lost in the mail? Here's hoping that you have a tracking number or insurance. Ouch!

Anyway, I still don't have my Pinto posi together yet, so I'm not in *that* big of a hurry.

I got the springs a few days ago. I was just a little thrown off because they were delivered to my Mom's farm in Iowa, while I was looking for them to be delivered to my house in Omaha. Thanks for mailing them! They are now soaking in my deruster.
