Well I don't know if it dribbled over to the Pinto but while I was tearing into the dash for the a/c (Mustang II), I thought I would finally get to those wiper bushings....but it looks to be a unserviceable part. Who's idea was this wiper arm transmission with no servicable bushings...Anyone machine up a bushing to repair this or do I need to come up with something on my own? Part # D4ZB17533 A1A

The old chryslers had a bushing that could be replaced, not sure if you can find them or if it could be made to work. Ford can't make any money selling a 50 cent bushing, they need to sell those $50.00+ wiper transmissions!! :D
