Anyone know if 74-78 Pinto and 73-77 Maverick bumpers will swap?
The reason I ask is because the bumpers on my 76 Maverick are bent and rusty and I like the look (and less weight) of the small aluminum bumpers on my 78 Pinto. I do know that the front bumpers have the exact same shape and are just a little narrower on the pinto (which is good because the sides of a Maverick bumper stick out too far)  And the rear bumper looks to be about the same as well.
My pinto needs better bumpers anyway because they're a little dinged up so I figure I might just slap the old ones on the Maverick as they are in better shape than the old steel bumpers on it now.

That is a good question  i would have said no  because of the  width but  i guess you can always try  as i need a rear bumper  for my maverick.
