Took my hood hinges out to get a good look at the cowl hoping not to have to do any repairs, but as suspected need to fix some stuff in their, took the heater box out shouldn't be to hard to fix, but the rubber boots behind the hinges are bad. Has any one else tried to find these? I haven't called the ford store yet but don't figure they stock this any more.

Do a search.  I believe someone posted that the foxbody Mustangs use the same or a similar boot.  Good luck on your cowl repairs.

Those boots seem to allways be cracked and turn into junk the first time you pull the hinge out. It would be great to have a source to get re-pops.

thanks i will do a search, and check on the fox body. shame of it is these things were still intact till i had to pull them out and i destroyed them.
