Title: falcon chassis mount assembly

I am getting the engine mounting assembly out of my uncles falcon and I am going to try to mount it into my 71 pinto. if any one has any information please let me know

Get a copy of that worthless " V-8 into a Pinto" book off E-bay and copy the motor mount plates shown in the book. Bolt them to the motor and drop her in. Now with the motor in place, make real motor mounts like a mustang 2. When you've done that remove the plates, throw them in the garbage, and your home free. Only thing good in that book.

I will try that too. I also thought about cuting the factory mounts off taking a set of motor mounts off of a 86-93 mustang welding them together then puting them back in the car.

Thanks, I will do that.  I also have the mustang 2 mounts that will be used, but that should help with location.  Thanks.
