Post by: dave1987 on November 07, 2008, 03:59:51 PM
Is there a difference between the Merkur XR4TI's (Turbo) camshaft and the stock Pinto camshaft?

The quick answer is "yes", but they will interchange. Unless you have a dyno, you won't see much if any difference between all the N/A cams. The "turbo" cams are made to work with possitive manifold pressure, but some people claim that they are a "performance" upgrade to a N/A 2.3. I can tell you that a "Pinto" cam has issues in a 2.3T.
