Title: Fuel tank sending unit??
Post by: tpembert on October 26, 2008, 06:38:38 PM
Now that I found a brand new, wrapped in plastic in it's original box 'dash instrument cluster assembly' at Harrold Ford in Sacramento, CA, I am having trouble finding a fuel tank sending unit and gasket for the same car, a 1976 Pinto 2.3...any leads? Thanks

Do you have a wagon or a hatch?

Do you have the sending unit? If so they can be rebuilt. As for the gasket, Ford still sells it. I have my sending units rebuilt all the time at a place in El Monte, CA and the gaskets I get from the Ford Dealer.
