Okay folks, we have a brother in need of a hard to find item. Lee Lafountain, webmaster of mustangii.org is looking to find a set of 1976 Ford paint chips. NOT the PPG paint chip sets that are everywhere, but the actual Fomoco chips. If anyone has any leads, feel free to PM me and I will pass them along.
Thanks!

I'll check my local Ford dealer. Small town, one owner for over 40 years, he MIGHT have a set that we can get... no guarantees ???
I checked my dealership yesterday and they don't keep anything before 1990. They did point me in the right direction though!
My Ford dealership gives the old paint chips to Boise Auto Paint & Glass, who has paint chips back to the 60s if I recall correctly. As far as I know they have the dealer chip samples from nearly every manufacturer (Ford, Dodge, Chevy, Honda, Etc...).
Just for the sake of having the info, I pulled the original FoMoCo paint codes for my original "Bright Yellow" as well as the two paint codes for the Stallion scheme, and the 1992 Chrysler "Canyon Blue" that is currently on my car.
That's what I ran into, so I wnt to the paint store and asked to copy it, and was told no-way. Sorry....
I can go back to the shop I went to and possibly get a copy for you, if you would like me to try.
Or there is ebay auction number 230299917145
