At what temperature is that fan sensor in the bottom of the intake manifold supposed to kick on?
I got an off kilter idler that is slowly turning the serpentine belt into black powder. So is the belt causing the idler to run off kilter or is it the other way around? How do I fix this?
your idler it self is bad, sounds like bearing is going out. Also would check to make sure your bolts are'nt bent or loose or missing.
P.S would replace idler .Whats causing your belt to turn into powder is your belt is walking side to side againts your bottom pulley as the motor is running and will break soon and pf you have your timing belt to tight or loose it will do the same.
It's a new idler. :(
